O joy of the family—nay, O joy of the household!

so I might gain the sight of your beautiful face.

my cord is tied to his bounty for all time.

And he never ceases to buy the loftiest honors in

the market of praise, paying most dearly in life and money.

    ومن يسد طريق العارض الهتر

    And he is one whom no reproach can deter from giving;

and who could block the path of the pouring raincloud?

I have indeed come to you with my praise, and I hold

something in my soul, and it is not hidden from the discerning.

to one whose fate is harsh and has not relented.

May you ever soar above fate, enjoying abundance,

and may whoever opposes you be in hardship and sorrow.

And may you ever live at ease, your loved ones reunited,

and in bliss and abundance, content in joy.

And may your eye stay gladdened as long as song rings out

from grey doves, and as long as they voice a melody upon a bough.
