ربة الحسن والمحيا البديع
May my father be ransom for her who gazed and swayed coquettishly,
By the one whose soul yearned and was smitten with love,
Mistress of beauty and exquisite countenance.
The epitome of beauty and radiant complexion,

لا ولا البدر فهي ستّ الجميع
Do not say she is like the gazelle or the bough in stature—
Say not that she's like a gazelle or branch in stature,
No, nor the full moon, for she is mistress of them all.
Nor like the full moon, for she surpasses all.
