In an embrace, while the watcher was heedless.
كأنas though بهاin it الهلالthe crescent moon يدa hand ثناهاbent it
كأن بها الهلال يد ثناها
محبa lover أوor توسدهاused it as a pillow الطبيبthe physician
محب أو توسدها الطبيب
The crescent that night seemed a hand bent by
A lover, or used as a pillow by the physician.
