Strutting like a moist branch with his stature
وتناوليand my taking منfrom راحتيهhis two palms وردةa rose
وتناولي من راحتيه وردة
عندat the time of العتابthe reproach ومثلهاand its like فيin خدهhis cheek
عند العتاب ومثلها في خده
nor my taking a rose from his palms
And he took from my hand a rose
at the moment of reproach, with its like upon his cheek.
