وبهارٍand daisies يحكىresembling كؤوسcups لُجينٍsilver
وبهارٍ يحكى كؤوس لُجينٍ
حملتهاbore them أناملٌfingertips منof زبرجَدperidot
حملتها أناملٌ من زبرجَد
And daisies resembling cups of silver,
With a spring that tales of cups of silver narrate
borne by fingertips of peridot;
Borne by fingers made of aquamarine
سامَرَتهاkept them company by night الكواكِبُthe stars الزّهرthe bright حَتّىuntil
سامَرَتها الكواكِبُ الزّهر حَتّى
سَمَرَتconversed by night وَسطهاat their centers كواكِبُstars عَسجَدgold
سَمَرَت وَسطها كواكِبُ عَسجَد
the bright stars kept them company by night,
The stars conversed with it till dusk
until stars of gold conversed at their centers.
Twinkling midst it were stars of camphor white
