My God, You are God, my mainstay and my refuge;
My friend, shine your inner light
And I rely on no creature, but on You alone.
Let wisdom guide your path each night

I have seen the children of time: the outcome of their stillness
Seek truth, justice, virtue and right
Is motion, and after motion comes stillness.
With open arms, embrace each plight

Content with what You have decreed, I submit as one who knows;
For what is inevitable will come to pass.
