Ah, may my father be his ransom, so radiant in youth! And O
By my father’s youthful radiance, by
beauty of his cheeks—how lovely it is!
The alluring bloom of his cheek, how sweet
كأننيas though I عِنْدَماwhen أُقَبلهَاI kiss it

It is as though, when I kiss it,
It seems when I kiss that cheek of his,
I blow into a rose to open it.
I’m breathing life into a budding rose.
