ولكand to you الخطابthe address إذاwhen أرادhe wishes الشاديthe singer
ولك الخطاب إذا أراد الشادي
You are the subject of discourse and the wellspring of song,
In you is conversation and the source of song
And to you the singer addresses his words whenever he wishes.
And yours is discourse when the happy one intends
