اِلْزَمْ مَكَانكَ فالتَّغَرُّبُ ذِلَّةٌ

اِلْزَمْ مَكَانكَ فالتَّغَرُّبُ ذِلَّةٌ

لَو لَمْ تَنَلْ غَيْرَ القَرارِ نَجاحا

لَو لَمْ تَنَلْ غَيْرَ القَرارِ نَجاحا

Stay where you are, for living abroad is humiliation,

Stay in your place, for expatriation is humiliation

even if you attain no success beyond remaining settled.

Even if you achieved nothing but settlement, that's success

فإذا أرادَ الله مَهْلِكَ نَمْلَةٍ

فإذا أرادَ الله مَهْلِكَ نَمْلَةٍ

هَيّا لَها كَيْما تَطِيْرَ جَناحا

هَيّا لَها كَيْما تَطِيْرَ جَناحا

For when God wills an ant's destruction,

So if God wanted to destroy an ant

He prepares a wing for it so that it may fly.

He'd give it wings to fly away
