لا تُنكِرَنْ كَسْرَهُ فَفيهِ

لا تُنكِرَنْ كَسْرَهُ فَفيهِ

حُبِّيْ وشوْقِيَ ساكِنانِ

حُبِّيْ وشوْقِيَ ساكِنانِ

Do not find its breaking strange, for within it

Do not deny its fracture, for in it

My love and my longing dwell.

Dwell my love and longing
