يا مَنْ غَدا يُنفقُ العُمْرَ الثَّمِيْنَ بِلا

جَدْوَى سِوى جَمْعِ مالٍ خِيفَةَ العَدَمِ

جَدْوَى سِوى جَمْعِ مالٍ خِيفَةَ العَدَمِ

O you who have taken to spending your precious life without

O you who spends the precious life in vain

any benefit but amassing wealth for fear of poverty,

Just gathering wealth, in fear of end's domain

اِرْجِعْ لِنَفْسِكَ وانظُرْ في تَخَلُّصِها

اِرْجِعْ لِنَفْسِكَ وانظُرْ في تَخَلُّصِها

فقَدْ قَذفتَ بها في لُجَّةِ العَدَمِ

فقَدْ قَذفتَ بها في لُجَّةِ العَدَمِ

Return to your soul and consider how to rescue it,

Return unto yourself, reflect and ascertain

for you have cast it into the deep waters of nothingness.

Salvation for the self you've pushed to end's terrain
