Is that your figure in your rose-colored attire,

Or a myrtle swaying proudly amid roses?

And is that your most auspicious face above it,

Or a moon that has shone forth auspiciously?

A gazelle—but how could a gazelle match his proud bearing,

His coy charm, his haunches, and his figure?

He sways proudly as he appears in a garment

As though it were woven from roses.

And its hue is not dye, but rather

A reflection of the radiance of that cheek.
