أعرِضْturn away عنِfrom العالَمِthe world مُسْتَرضِياًseeking to please
أعرِضْ عنِ العالَمِ مُسْتَرضِياً
مَنْthe one who لَيْسَnot تَخْفَىis hidden عنهُfrom him مِنْany خافِيَهْsecret
مَنْ لَيْسَ تَخْفَى عنهُ مِنْ خافِيَهْ
Turn away from the world, seeking to please
Turn away from the world appeased
Him from whom no secret is hidden.
He from whom nothing is hidden
مَنْwhoever لمdid not يكُنْbe رِضىapproval الوَرىhumankind قَصْدَهُhis aim
مَنْ لم يكُنْ رِضى الوَرى قَصْدَهُ
خَيَّمpitched his tent فيin بُحبوحَةِample expanse العافِيَهْwell-being
خَيَّم في بُحبوحَةِ العافِيَهْ
Whoever does not make humankind’s approval his aim
He for whom the world's pleasure was not his aim
Pitches his tent in the ample expanse of well-being.
Lived in perfect well-being
