The philosophers' followers hold a belief

The philosophers hold a belief

by which they deem themselves released from religious law.

Through which they see religious law as dissolved

أباحوا كل محظور حرام

أباحوا كل محظور حرام

وردوه لأنفسهم حلالا

وردوه لأنفسهم حلالا

They have permitted every forbidden, unlawful thing,

They made permissible all that is forbidden and prohibited

and rendered it lawful for themselves.

And deemed it lawful for themselves

وما انتسبوا إِلى الاسلام الا

وما انتسبوا إِلى الاسلام الا

لصون دمائهم أن لا تسالا

لصون دمائهم أن لا تسالا

And they have affiliated themselves with Islam only

And they affiliated themselves with Islam

to protect their blood from being shed.

Only to protect their blood from being spilled

فيأتون المناكر في نشاط

فيأتون المناكر في نشاط

وياتون الصلاة وهم كسالى

وياتون الصلاة وهم كسالى

So they commit reprehensible deeds with vigor,

So they come to denial energetically

yet they come to prayer sluggishly.

And come to prayer while lazy
