فيin الشفاعاتintercessions وتكليفand the demands of الورىhumankind
في الشفاعات وتكليف الورى
People think that I am weary
People think I'm exhausted
from interceding and the demands of humankind;
With intercessions and obliging people
والذيand what يتعبهمwearies them منof ذاكthat ليfor me
والذي يتعبهم من ذاك لي
راحةٌcomfort فيof غيرهاanything other than it لنwill not أفكِراI think
راحةٌ في غيرها لن أفكِرا
and what wearies them in that is, for me,
Yet what wears them out for me
a comfort; I will think of nothing else.
Is rest; in another I'll not reflect
وبودىand I wish لوif only أقضيِّI spend العمرlife فيin
وبودى لو أقضيِّ العمر في
خدمةِservice of الطلابِthe petitioners حتىeven فيin الكرىslumber
خدمةِ الطلابِ حتى في الكرى
And I wish I could spend my life in
I wish I'd spend my life
serving petitioners, even in slumber.
Serving students, even when buried
