ياO خيرَbest مَولىMaster دَعاهcalled upon Him عَبدٌa servant
يا خيرَ مَولى دَعاه عَبدٌ
أَعملdevoted فيin الباطلِfalsehood احتِهَادَهhis utmost effort
أَعمل في الباطلِ احتِهَادَه
O best Master whom a servant has called upon,
Who devoted his utmost effort to falsehood,
هَبforgive ليfor me ماwhat قَدalready عَلِمتَYou have known منيof me
هَب لي ما قَد عَلِمتَ مني
ياO عالمَKnower of الغَيبthe unseen والشّهَادَهand the seen
يا عالمَ الغَيب والشّهَادَه
Forgive me for what You already know of me,
O Knower of the unseen and the seen.
