أقول وقد حَانَ الوَداعُ وأسلمت

أقول وقد حَانَ الوَداعُ وأسلمت

قلوبٌ إِلى حكم الاسى ومدامعُ

قلوبٌ إِلى حكم الاسى ومدامعُ

I say, as farewell’s hour has come and surrendered are

Hearts and tearful eyes to sorrow’s rule:

أيا ربُ اهلي في يَديك وديعةٌ

أيا ربُ اهلي في يَديك وديعةٌ

وما عَدِمَت صوناً لديك الودائعُ

وما عَدِمَت صوناً لديك الودائعُ

O Lord, my family is a trust in Your hands,

And trusts in Your keeping have never lacked protection.
