Tell the heretics about me
a saying that is the sword I sharpen:
That my speech is the sword I wield

I sent forth my verse among you;
I have sent my poetry among you

To invade you with its rhymes

In it, for God's sake, I spoke out

The truth, and truth pleases Him

And many a rider of his own desire—
And riders of their whims
perhaps one day it will turn him back.
Perhaps one day it will deter them

"Whoever is ignorant of something
He will never cease to hate it

God knows it, and God perceives it
is for God's sake, and God knows it.

And that knowledge, in my view—
No good in you or in it
there is no good in you, nor in it.
