حجابكُyour refusal of access إحسانٌa kindness إلىto مَنthe one whom حَجَبتَهُyou turned him away
حجابكُ إحسانٌ إلى مَن حَجَبتَهُ
وبُخلُكand your stinginess إسعافٌaid لَمنto the one whom أنتَyou حَارِمُdeprive
وبُخلُك إسعافٌ لَمن أنتَ حَارِمُ
Your refusal of access is a kindness to the one you turn away.
Your veil is kindness to the one you've veiled
And your stinginess is aid to the one you deprive.
And your refusal is aid to whom you've deprived
فإنَّfor indeed الذيthe one who يَحميis shielded from عَبُوسَكyour scowl فَائِزٌa winner
فإنَّ الذي يَحمي عَبُوسَك فَائِزٌ
وإنَّand indeed الذيthe one who يكفيis spared امتِنَانَكyour reminders of favors غانمُone who gains
وإنَّ الذي يكفي امتِنَانَك غانمُ
For whoever is shielded from your scowl is a winner.
Indeed, he who withstands your frown is victorious
And whoever is spared your reminders of favors comes out ahead.
And he who suffices your favor is rewarded
