دَعِleave alone الطِّينَthe clay مُعتَقِداًaccepting مَذهَبيmy view
دَعِ الطِّينَ مُعتَقِداً مَذهَبي
فقدfor indeed صَحَّis sound فيهabout it حَديثُthe saying of النَّبيthe Prophet
فقد صَحَّ فيه حَديثُ النَّبي
Leave clay alone, embracing my doctrine:
Leave clay alone, accepting my view;
for the Prophet’s hadith concerning it is sound.
For the Prophet's saying about it is indeed sound:
منfrom الطينِthe clay رَبِّيmy Lord بَرَاcreated آدماAdam
من الطينِ رَبِّي بَرَا آدما
فآكلُهُso its eater آكلٌan eater للأَبِof the father
فآكلُهُ آكلٌ للأَبِ
From clay my Lord fashioned Adam;
From clay my Lord created Adam,
so whoever eats it is eating his father.
So whoever eats it eats the father.
