When your winds blow, make the most of them,

When your winds blow, seize them

for every stirring wind has its stillness.

For every flutter has stillness

ولا تعقُل عن الإحسانِ فيها

ولا تعقُل عن الإحسانِ فيها

فما تدري السُّكون متى يكون

فما تدري السُّكون متى يكون

And do not hold back from doing good while they blow,

And do not refrain from kindness in them

for you do not know when the stillness will come.

For you know not when stillness comes
