خلعتُI cast off عِذاريَmy bridle (restraint) فيfor شَادِنٍa young gazelle
عُيُونُthe eyes الأنامِof all people بهupon him تُعقَدُare fixed
I cast off my bridle for a young gazelle,
Upon whom all people's eyes are fixed.
غَدَاhas become وَجهُهُhis face كَعبَةًa Kaaba للجَمَالِfor beauty
وليand to me قَلبُهُhis heart الحَجَرُthe stone الأَسوَدُblack
His face has become beauty's Kaaba,
Yet to me his heart is the Black Stone.
