وقِرطاسِ خدِّ في هواكِ مَشَقتُهُ

وقِرطاسِ خدِّ في هواكِ مَشَقتُهُ

بأقلام هُدبي من مِدادِ دُموعي

بأقلام هُدبي من مِدادِ دُموعي

and a cheek's parchment, which I have inscribed in love for you

And a parchment cheek chafed by passion for you,

with the pens of my eyelashes, using the ink of my tears?

Inscribed by the quills of my eyelashes with ink of my tears.
