A gazelle—when he slays souls with a keen sword
A beloved, if he slays souls with a blade
from his gaze, they accept his kiss as blood money.
From his glance, I'd accept his kiss as blood money
وإذاand when دَعَوتُI pray عليهagainst him عندَduring تَعَتُّبِيmy reproach

فأشدُّ ما أدعو به أن أَفدِيَه
And when I pray against him in my reproach,
And if I invoke curses upon him when complaining
my harshest prayer is that I may be his ransom.
The harshest I'd invoke is to ransom him
