Why mend me—and why undo me?

زوِّدprovision فؤاداًa heart راحلاًdeparting قُبلةًa kiss
زوِّد فؤاداً راحلاً قُبلةً
لاno بُدَّescape للرَّاحلfor the traveler منfrom زادprovisions
لا بُدَّ للرَّاحل من زاد
Provision a departing heart with a kiss;
Provision a departing heart with a kiss;
no traveler can do without provisions.
