  1. رسولك سيف في يمينك فاستجد

    حساماً ولا تضرب به قبل صقله

    Your messenger is a sword in your right hand, so choose

    a keen blade, and do not strike with it before polishing it.

  2. فمن يك ذا سيف كهام فضرهذ

    يعود على المعني منه بجهله

    For whoever has a blunt sword, [its harm]

    rebounds upon the person concerned through his ignorance.
