دعي دعوات اللهو قد فات وقتها
كماjust as قدalready أفاتhas dispelled الليلthe night نورthe light of المشارقthe eastern horizons
كما قد أفات الليل نور المشارق
Leave the calls of diversion; their time has passed,
just as the light of the eastern horizons has dispelled the night.

and strive earnestly for what we are summoned to, and race ahead.”
