so linger—he is not yet beyond reach.

There's a path not yet walked

so tarry awhile, for time is not yet lost.

لا تعجل قنطاً

Do not hasten into despair:

whoever has not died is not beyond reach.

He who hasn't died still has hope

for he who has not died has missed nothing.

والذي قد مات فال

يأس به قد ثبت

And as for the one who has died,

But he who has passed

While as for the one who has perished,

despair of him is now certain.

His fate is sealed

despair concerning him is firmly sealed.
