كَأنas though لَمdid not يَكُنbe بَينٌparting وَلَمand did not يَكُbe فُرقَةٌseparation
كَأن لَم يَكُن بَينٌ وَلَم يَكُ فُرقَةٌ
إذَاwhen كَانَthere is مِنfrom بَعدِafter الفِرَاقِthe parting تَلاَقِreunion
إذَا كَانَ مِن بَعدِ الفِرَاقِ تَلاَقِ
As though there had been no parting and no separation,
It is as though no distance had ever been, nor any parting,
when, after parting, there is reunion.
When after separation there comes a reunion.
