وأنand surely امرأًa man لمhas not يضنfaltered حسنthe excellence of اصطبارهhis patient endurance
وأن امرأً لم يضن حسن اصطباره
عليكover you وقدand already فارقتهyou have left him لجليدindeed stout-hearted
عليك وقد فارقته لجليد
And surely a man whose fine endurance has not faltered
That a man did not deem good his patience
over you, though you have left him, is stout-hearted indeed.
