أَعْجِبْMarvel بمنat one who إنif حلَّsettles فيin بيتٍa house لهbelonging to him
أَعْجِبْ بمن إن حلَّ في بيتٍ له
فلأنفِهِthen for his nose فيin الدارthe dwelling بَيْتٌa room ثانِsecond
فلأنفِهِ في الدار بَيْتٌ ثانِ
Marvel at the man who, if he settles in his own house,
Marvel at one whose nose, should he stay in his own house,
has a second room in the dwelling for his nose.
Would need another house, just for that nose.
وتكَادُand almost تُخْفِيهِconceals him ضخامةُthe enormous size أنفهِof his nose
وتكَادُ تُخْفِيهِ ضخامةُ أنفهِ
فكأنَّهso he seems to be أنفٌa nose بلاwithout إِنسانِa human being
فكأنَّه أنفٌ بلا إِنسانِ
And the sheer size of his nose almost conceals him,
His massive nose could almost hide all of him.
so he seems a nose without a man.
It's like a nose without a man!
