And they put my rod under strain alongside the other rods,
to distinguish the sound from the suspect.
فلانso yielded الخروعthe castor plant الخوارthe feeble مناamong us
فلان الخروع الخوار منا
وبانand became apparent تكرمthe nobility النبعthe nabʿ tree الصليبthe sturdy
وبان تكرم النبع الصليب
The feeble castor wood among us yielded,
and the nobility of the sturdy nabʿ wood was revealed.
