وخمارٍ أعد الكأس ظئراً

لطارقه فلم يرضعه غيلا

With a flask whose udder he filled at eve

For his guest, who would not drink thereof,

أوفيهِ خلاص التبر وزناً

فيسبكه ويعطينيه كيلاً

And then weighed out his hosts boon in gold

And melted it down and gave it to him in full tale
