بِاللَهِ سِر يا رَسولَ حبّي

بِاللَهِ سِر يا رَسولَ حبّي

إِلَيهِ إِذ ظَلَّ لي يُباعِد

إِلَيهِ إِذ ظَلَّ لي يُباعِد

For God's sake, go, O messenger of my love,

By Allah, tell my love, O Messenger

To him, for he has kept aloof from me.

That he estranges me as he stays away

فَإِن جَرى عِندَهُ حديثي

فَإِن جَرى عِندَهُ حديثي

أعِن وَكُن لي يَداً وَساعِد

أعِن وَكُن لي يَداً وَساعِد

So if talk of me arises in his presence,

And if my talk of him passes by you

Help me, be my helping hand, and lend your aid.

Help me and be a hand and helper
