مالِيwhat need have I وللوِرْدِand with the watering place وبحْرُand the sea النّدىbounty
مالِي وللوِرْدِ وبحْرُ النّدى
لكَفِّto the palm موْلايَmy lord انتَمىtraced its origin وانتسَبْand traced its lineage
لكَفِّ موْلايَ انتَمى وانتسَبْ
What need have I of a watering place, when the sea of bounty
Roses and dew's ocean are mine
has its origin and lineage in my lord's palm?
My master took refuge and associated
والغيثُand the rain ماnot أخْلَفَfailed to fall إلاexcept هَماrained down
والغيثُ ما أخْلَفَ إلا هَما
فوقَupon البَراياall creatures جودُهُhis bounty وانسَكبْand poured forth
فوقَ البَرايا جودُهُ وانسَكبْ
And the rain never failed without a shower
The rain left naught but care
of his bounty pouring forth upon all creatures.
Above wilds, his generosity poured and flooded
