O champion of Islam, O king of guidance,

May your banner ever be victorious, and you ever upheld.

You surpassed the noblest kings in glorious deeds,

And reached the farthest bound in the race for glory.

For you are indeed their loftiest and most radiant when

They rise high, and the surest to fulfill a promise of noble deeds.

And the greatest of them in rank, the noblest in adornments,

And the most far-reaching in largesse, the most generous of hand.

Indeed, the clouds, though their bounty comes in succession,

Have drawn from no source but your largesse.

And did not your bounty, when it rained upon your servant,

Come to renew the robes of acceptance?

You bestowed on me what I cannot fully repay with thanks—

Blessings so great that they humbled the foes.

And you generously turned the face of acceptance toward me,

So I began offering you praise again and again.

And I saw your servant Mukhlis and deemed him

A good omen affirming the qualities of sincerity.

You honored me and raised my renown, bestowing favors.

May you live on forever, O glory of kings.
