موْلايَ يا أعْلى الوَرى منزِلَهْ

موْلايَ يا أعْلى الوَرى منزِلَهْ

عبْدُكَ يرجُو نعْمةً منكَ لَهْ

عبْدُكَ يرجُو نعْمةً منكَ لَهْ

My lord, O highest of mankind in station,

My Master, the Highest of the High Abode

Your servant hopes to receive a favor from you,

Your servant hopes for bounty from You for him

مثْلَ رَفيقَيْهِ وقد بُلّغا

مثْلَ رَفيقَيْهِ وقد بُلّغا

ما أسْعَفَ القصْدَ وما كمّلَهْ

ما أسْعَفَ القصْدَ وما كمّلَهْ

Like his two companions, who have both been granted

Like his two companions, who have attained

What served their purpose and what brought it to fulfillment.

All they desired, and all made perfect

كِلاهُما فازَ بما شاءَهُ

كِلاهُما فازَ بما شاءَهُ

ولم ينَلْ عبدُك ما أمّلَهْ

ولم ينَلْ عبدُك ما أمّلَهْ

Both of them gained what they wished for,

Both succeeded in what they willed

While your servant did not obtain what he hoped for.

While Your servant did not gain what he wished

وإنّ موْلايَ الإمامَ الرّضا

وإنّ موْلايَ الإمامَ الرّضا

يحْكُمُ في ذلكَ بالمَعْدِلَهْ

يحْكُمُ في ذلكَ بالمَعْدِلَهْ

And indeed my lord, the esteemed imam,

Surely my Master al-Imam al-Riḍā

Judges that matter with justice.

Will judge in that with equity

ورِفْدُ موْلايَ يعُمُّ الوَرى

ورِفْدُ موْلايَ يعُمُّ الوَرى

سحائِبُ الجودِ بهِ مُرْسَلَهْ

سحائِبُ الجودِ بهِ مُرْسَلَهْ

And my lord's bounty embraces all mankind;

The provision of my Master encompasses all creatures

Through him the clouds of generosity are sent forth.

فلا تُخيّبْ راجياً لمْ يزَلْ

فلا تُخيّبْ راجياً لمْ يزَلْ

في كُلّ حال وارِداً مَنْهَلَهْ

في كُلّ حال وارِداً مَنْهَلَهْ

So do not disappoint a hopeful man who has never ceased

So do not disappoint a hopeful one who never ceased

Coming to his watering place in every circumstance.

To come in every state to his spring

وقد توسّلْت بهادِي الوَرى

وقد توسّلْت بهادِي الوَرى

ومُحْكَمِ الذّكْرِ ومَن أنْزَلَهْ

ومُحْكَمِ الذّكْرِ ومَن أنْزَلَهْ

And I have made my appeal through the guide of mankind,

I pleaded by the Guide of Mankind

And the unambiguous text of the Reminder, and Him who sent it down.

The Firm in Word, He who sent it down

لازِلْتَ تُبْدي نصْرَ دينِ الهُدى

لازِلْتَ تُبْدي نصْرَ دينِ الهُدى

في الحالِ والأزمِنةِ المُقْبِلَهْ

في الحالِ والأزمِنةِ المُقْبِلَهْ

May you never cease to show support for the faith of guidance,

You constantly display aid to the religion of guidance

Now and in the times to come.
