والزَّهْرُ منْ ذِكْريَ آراجُها
It is loftiness—its path lies beneath me;
She is the most high, her way above me,
And the flowers draw their fragrances from the mention of me.
And the flowers are perfumed by the memory of her.

مدَّ يدَ الآمِلِ مُحْتاجُها
And I am God's mercy whenever
It is the mercy of God whenever
One in need of it stretches out a hopeful hand.
She extends her hand to one hopeful, needy.

تقْصِدُ موْلَى الخلقِ أفْواجُها
And today I am the Kaaba of generosity, as
She is the Kaaba of generosity,
Its throngs make for the lord of creation.
As the crowds of mankind seek the patron of creation.

And the king's court and his Alhambra—
The king’s court and his red pavilion
Its towers mirror the constellations of the horizon.
Marked the horizon’s towers and mansions.

A lovely crown or wreath it might fashion,

Or if the meteors of my sky could rise
Ascent begins above the palace gate,
Above the gate of her palace enclosure,

Then all who lost the path of guidance
Is guided toward the right course by their blazing light;
Would be led by her to proper direction.

And all who hope for the rainclouds’ downpour
From his palm has his thirst quenched by their downpour.
Will see their thirst quenched from her outpour.
