At the peak of perfection, ascending.

These your praises that make the trusted
their Amin and their Rashid draw back the reins.
And the rightly guided rein in and heed.

These hopes however long frustrated,
without their far-off ends drawing near, as you wish.
Approach if you wish from afar or near.

The fasting month has departed, the noblest traveler,
The month of fasting departed most generous

Relating the tales of magnanimity and repeating them.

Pleased their hearing by recollection.

Alas! One whose protection includes a pact
with covenants whose goodness none can blame.
Will not forget while its beauty renews.

Longing has worn it thin for your court,
On its account burning with passion for your presence
which it revisits with recurring gracious favors.
Where custom of fine action recurs.

You rose as a sign on the caliphate's horizon,
So you appeared on the horizon of the Caliphate a sign
gladdening its lowlands and highlands.
At which the horizons dazzled and bowed.

With you are faces among the princes of your realm,
And among the princes of your kingdom are faces
radiant, their good fortune delighting the shining stars.
Radiant, at which the brilliant stars set.

And you extended a palm that never ceased
its pledges pour down upon the hopeful.
To let fall favors upon the hopeful.

You bestowed favors on the noble men of the tribes,
You bestowed the finest gifts on the noble tribes
beginning them, while your hands' bounty renews them.
Starting them while your hand???s radiance grants increase.

So they came renewing their oath of fealty to you
with these angels of heaven as its witnesses.
Witnessed by the angels of heaven.

They made your right hand a qibla for noble deeds,
Making your hand the direction to nobleness
and so their bowing and prostration were prolonged.
So it remained humble, bowing and prostrating.

Here it is for you: pearls from the sea of my thought,
And from the sea of my thoughts I retrieved for you pearls
whose arrangement would not delight without your virtues.
That would not have coalesced or formed without you.

A beauty—the bright stars turn away
Beauteous she whose flowers the stars incline from
from her, and graceful women in secluded chambers fall short.
Remaining too short next to her towering height.

Finding no place with you barren?

would their necklaces delight upon the neck of time.
Nor would time celebrate contracts with them.

Those made loyal while the envious it disgraces.

All creatures must therefore prolong their prayers,
So creation should prolong their prayers
and he for whom they pray must secure its perpetuity.
And the prayers??? object perpetuate his Caliphate.
