وأرىand I deem ذاكthat يشهدbears witness اللَهGod مجداglory
وأرى ذاك يشهد اللَه مجدا
I am more deserving than you of bondage in love.
I am foremost in love's bondage to you
And I deem that—God is my witness—a glory.
I see that as bearing witness to God's glory
علمknows اللَهGod أننيthat I منكfrom you راضٍcontent
علم اللَه أنني منك راضٍ
أنthat ترانيyou see me لعبدto the slave of عبدكyour slave عبداa slave
أن تراني لعبد عبدك عبدا
God knows I am content with this from you:
God knows that I am pleased with you
that you see me as a slave to your slave’s slave.
To see myself as your slave's slave
