غَريبٌa stranger تَحلَّتْadorned themselves بآدابِهِwith his accomplishments
غَريبٌ تَحلَّتْ بآدابِهِ
بِلادٌlands تَوَاصَتْurged one another بِتَعْطِيلهto neglect him
بِلادٌ تَوَاصَتْ بِتَعْطِيله
A stranger whose accomplishments adorned
lands that urged one another to neglect him.
