زادَraised الشّريفُthe nobleman (sharif) عَلَيَّupon me أجَرةَthe rent of مَسْكنيmy dwelling
زادَ الشّريفُ عَلَيَّ أجَرةَ مَسْكني

ظُلماً ومالي عَنْ ذراهُ مَحيدُ
The sharif raised the rent of my dwelling on me,
The noble increased the rent on my dwelling
Unjustly, and I have no escape from his shelter.
Unjustly, while I have no means to pay it
فَلِذاكَso, for that reason أهلُthe people of البيتِthe house تشكوcomplain جَوْرَهُhis oppression
فَلِذاكَ أهلُ البيتِ تشكو جَوْرَهُ
أذناًan ear (a hearing) لهمfor them بأذاهُconcerning his harm وهوand he يَزيدُYazid (also: he increases)
أذناً لهم بأذاهُ وهو يَزيدُ
Thus the people of the house complain of his oppression:
So the people of my house complain of his tyranny
Lend them an ear concerning his harm—and he is Yazid.
Yet he turns a deaf ear and increases it more
