وَثَروتيand my wealth فيهمamong them وإفلاسيand my bankruptcy
وَثَروتي فيهم وإفلاسي
O you who ask about my trade among mankind,
O you who ask me about my trade among humankind,
and of my wealth among them—and my poverty:

ماwhat حالُcondition مَنْone who درهَمa dirham إنفاقهhis spending
ما حالُ مَنْ درهَم إنفاقه
يأخذهُhe takes it منfrom أعُينeyes النّاسthe people
يأخذهُ من أعُين النّاس
how fares a man whose spending coin
How fares one whose dirham for expenses
he takes from people’s eyes?
