يا إلهي تجاوُزاً عن ذُنوبي

يا إلهي تجاوُزاً عن ذُنوبي

فَلَقَدْ سوَّرَتْ بَياضَ مشيبي

فَلَقَدْ سوَّرَتْ بَياضَ مشيبي

O my God, pardon my sins,

My God, forgive my sins

for they have encircled the whiteness of my gray hair.

For gray has adorned my hair's whiteness

غافرَ الذَّنبِ قابلَ التّوبِ كُنْ لي

غافرَ الذَّنبِ قابلَ التّوبِ كُنْ لي

عندَ ظَنّي فأنتَ خيرُ مُجيبِ

عندَ ظَنّي فأنتَ خيرُ مُجيبِ

Forgiver of sin, Accepter of repentance, be to me

O Forgiver of sins, Accepter of repentance, be for me

as I hope, for You are the best of those who answer.

As good as I think, for You are the Best of responders
