لَحى اللهُ هذا الذي

لَحى اللهُ هذا الذي

هَجَرْتُ الحلالَ لهُ والحراما

هَجَرْتُ الحلالَ لهُ والحراما

May God curse this one for whom

Allah curse this one who

I have forsaken the lawful and the forbidden.

I left the lawful and unlawful for him

يُعاندُني فَهْوَ من لُؤمهِ

يُعاندُني فَهْوَ من لُؤمهِ

إذا قُمْتُ نامَ وإنْ نمتُ قاما

إذا قُمْتُ نامَ وإنْ نمتُ قاما

He defies me, for such is his baseness:

He opposes me, so he is of his own misfortune

when I rise, he sleeps, and if I sleep, he rises.

If I get up he sleeps, and if I sleep he gets up
