I say, as gardens of anemones come into view,

Richly adorned, with no equal among anemones:

The garden has indeed robbed cheeks of their redness,

And seized the heart’s dark core from every lover.

So, O every beloved, guard your cheek as you walk,

And bite down on your heart’s dark core, O every lover.
