No sultan in Islam has ever been your equal.
Nor did Kisra have a hall like this hall.

The city of pillars has appeared along its sides—
rather, it is the Garden of Eternity, and its gatekeeper is Ridwan.

مهابةً يتّقيها الإنسُ والجانُ
If you are absent from it, a likeness of you fills it
with awe that humankind and jinn dread.

You depicted your army there in its customary manner,
as though they dwelt upon the horses' backs.

They do not tire of riding horses in pursuit of the
enemies, ever; nor does any affair distract them.

Their eyes are fixed in readiness to obey the command,
so never do their eyelids close.

Their swords have been slaked with the blood of unbelief,
through bloodshed; yet each still thirsts for battle.

They seem to stand amid thickets of their spears,
beneath the banners, themselves houris and youths.

I portrayed them; and when the envoys of kings saw
their beauty, they were bewitched—and beauty bewitches.

and below it in exalted rank lies Saturn.

It is like the upper world, guarded by the
angels; no devil has drawn near it there.

its gold the shooting stars, its pillars the cosmic elements.

It is like the muster on Judgment Day, when they were presented
before Him in ranks, with a balance for dispensing rewards.
