إيّاكَbeware طبَّthe medicine of ابنِson of أبيfather of صادقٍṢādiq
إيّاكَ طبَّ ابنِ أبي صادقٍ
فإنّهُfor he is فيin الطِّبِّmedicine زورٌfalsehood وَمَيْنand lies
فإنّهُ في الطِّبِّ زورٌ وَمَيْن
Beware the medicine of Ibn Abī Ṣādiq,
for in medicine he is falsehood and lies.
وانظُرْand look تَجِدْهُyou will find him فيin تَصانيفهhis writings
وانظُرْ تَجِدْهُ في تَصانيفه
قَدindeed صَفَعَhe slapped الطُبَّmedicine بِخُفّيْwith the two slippers of حُنَيْنḤunayn
قَد صَفَعَ الطُبَّ بِخُفّيْ حُنَيْن
Look, and you will find in his writings that he
has slapped medicine with Ḥunayn’s two slippers.
