وفي الفرائد ما يربي على الحمل
Time brought him forth, peerless in his virtues.
Time brought him forth peerless in his virtues,
And among choice pearls are those that surpass Aries.
With such rare qualities as might rear the colt.
بياضwhiteness عرضhonor تحامىshunned الذمblame جانبهits side
بياض عرض تحامى الذم جانبه
ليسis not السوادblackness بأبهىany lovelier منهthan it فيin المقلthe eyes
ليس السواد بأبهى منه في المقل
The whiteness of an honor whose bounds blame has shunned—
The whiteness of his soul has protected his honour
The blackness in the eyes is no lovelier than it.
From the blackness of blame - no colour is fairer.
