قد أفلح المؤمنون الصادقون بما

قد أفلح المؤمنون الصادقون بما

رأوه في صدقهم من كل معلومِ

رأوه في صدقهم من كل معلومِ

The truthful believers have indeed prospered through what

They saw, in their truthfulness, of all that is known.

هم الأعزَّاء لا جاهٌ ولا شرفٌ

هم الأعزَّاء لا جاهٌ ولا شرفٌ

إلا بشربهمُ من عينِ تَسنيم

إلا بشربهمُ من عينِ تَسنيم

They are the mighty; there is no prestige or honor

Except through their drinking from the spring of Tasnim.

إنْ قالوا قالوا به وقال قالوا به

إنْ قالوا قالوا به وقال قالوا به

فهم بما نعتوا بكل تقسيم

فهم بما نعتوا بكل تقسيم

If they speak, they speak through Him; and He speaks—they speak through Him.

Thus they, however described in every classification,

عينٌ له وهو عينٌ ثابتٌ لهم

عينٌ له وهو عينٌ ثابتٌ لهم

فلا يصرِّفهم إلا بترسيم

فلا يصرِّفهم إلا بترسيم

Are an entity for Him, and He a fixed entity for them.

So He directs them only according to a prescribed pattern.

بمثلِ ذا أثبت البرهان جبرهمُ

بمثلِ ذا أثبت البرهان جبرهمُ

فلا اختيارٌ لهم من غير تتميم

فلا اختيارٌ لهم من غير تتميم

By such means, proof has established that they are compelled;

So they have no choice without completion.

تمّ الوجودُ بهم إذ كان ينقصه

تمّ الوجودُ بهم إذ كان ينقصه

أعيانهم وهو حالُ النونِ والميم

أعيانهم وهو حالُ النونِ والميم

Existence became complete through them, for it had lacked

Their entities—and such is the state of nūn and mīm.

لذاك تبصرهم إذا تعاينهم

لذاك تبصرهم إذا تعاينهم

في زينة الله في أحوال تعظيم

في زينة الله في أحوال تعظيم

That is why you see them, when you behold them,

In God's adornment, in states of glorification.
